Image processing engineer (F/M)

Argolight – 2017 Pessac (close to Bordeaux, FRANCE) – Permanent contract  – Salary: 31 k€

Ambitious start-up, reliable (5 years-old, in credit activity, growing) and oriented towards the international (80% of our sales out of France), Argolight is a high technology company which works for the markets of biotechnology, pharmaceutics and medical research. We are seeking for an image processing engineer for the development of new algorithms to control the quality of fluorescence imaging systems.

Your position

You will work in a team composed of 3 developers (including you). You will work on R&D studies in the field of fluorescence imaging microscopy.

You will be in charge of the development of software tools for data processing and analysis of microscopy images, tests preparation, data shaping, algorithms definition and modeling. Your expertise will lead you to be solicited for images processing technical support.

You will work inside a dynamic and innovative team, with experts in glassy materials, lasers and microscopy. Your ability to be proactive will be not only encouraged, but also rewarded.

Your profile:

With a University master, engineering school diploma or equivalent, you have many years of solid experience in images processing.

Skills:

• Images processing library: OpenCV
• Main language: Java
• OS: Windows
• Strong autonomy
• Organization, sense of responsibilities
• Spoken and written technical English

Bonus:

• Specialist in images processing
• Good knowledge in image segmentation, shape detection
• Other languages: C++, Python
• Appreciated knowledge in image deconvolution, microscopy, image correction, GPU (Graphics
• Processing Unit) programming
• Database: NoSQL
• Team working
