BioImage Analysis Symposium: "Workflows and Open Tools"

The NEUBIAS conference aims at boosting the communication between biologists, microscopists, image analysts and algorithm/software developers by offering a balanced program between Science and Open Software Showcase.

The symposium is part of the conference and is planned during the last 2.5 days of the conference, gathering all of the above types of experts to leverage the communication between different disciplines and values. Registration to the symposium does not require registration to courses and Taggathon in the conference - it can be independently attended.

The organizing committee is assembling an innovative scientific program featuring both academic and industry partners in the exciting and rapidly moving field of BioImage analysis, which will include the following topics:

  • Image restoration, storage and management
  • 3D & 4D imaging analysis
  • BioImage analysis software tools for high content analysis
  • Data mining
  • Open source developments

Aside from plenary invited and abstract-selected talks, we will have

  • company workshops: Talks and Hands-On Demos by sponsors
  • open-source software forum: Meet the developers and specialists to get the latest updates and demos
  • a dedicated “shout your problem” session: Life Scientists facing roadblocks in their Image Analysis to team up with tool providers, developers  & analysts
