For the earliest possible start date we are searching for a highly qualified Application Consultant for Image Analysis Solutions in Tissue Diagnostics (m/f) to join our expanding Professional Services team in our Munich HQ office.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide customized image and data analysis solutions based on Definiens’ platform technology
  • Project management
  • Consulting of customers
  • Provide training, expert coaching, and support
  • Fully integrate into project teams

Qualifications

  • Degree in bioinformatics, physics, computer science or similar
  • Experience in addressing biomedical problems
  • Extensive background in using software for scientific or analytical purposes
  • Excellent analytical and methodological skills
  • Knowledge in using or better developing image-based and image analysis algorithms and applications (any previous experience is a bonus)
  • Programming background in one or some of the following programing languages python, batch script, C, C++ is an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic concepts and previous experience with machine learning methods is an advantage
  • Histology / pathology / immunology background is an advantage
  • Professional experience in customer service business is an advantage
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active proposing new ideas and methods for improving the development environment / processes and underlying technologies and workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent social and connecting skills, joy to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing company
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Readiness to travel and to work at customers’ sites
